Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 Defeat Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 1 – 2025 In High-Scoring Affair

There were runs aplenty on Sunday at El Pomar Youth Sports Park, as Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 outsted Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 1 – 2025 17-13. Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 collected 13 hits, while Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 1 – 2025 had 20.

Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 1 – 2025 got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Chris Dahl singled to center field, and Eric Lenberg grounded into a double play, each scoring one run.

Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 tied the game in the top of the second thanks to a single by Mark Tucker, and a fielder’s choice by David Rex.

In the bottom of the second inning, Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 1 – 2025 went back into the lead after Andrew Washburn singled down the right field line, and Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 committed an error, each scoring one run.

Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 captured the lead, 6-4, in the top of the third when Bud Maison doubled, scoring two runs, Tucker drew a walk, scoring one run, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 scored seven runs on six hits in the top of the fifth inning. Jon Schwindt singled, scoring one run, Barrett Skaggs singled, scoring one run, Brad Blankenship singled, scoring two runs, and Andy Schmidt homered to right field, scoring three runs.

Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 1 – 2025 scored six runs on seven hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Washburn singled, scoring one run, Jim Tapia singled, scoring two runs, Dahl singled, scoring one run, and Rodger Bowen singled, scoring two runs.

Mike Wilson began the game for Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025. The right-handed pitcher allowed six hits and four runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Tim Brickler stepped on the mound first for Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 1 – 2025. The starter surrendered three hits and two runs over two innings, striking out none and walking one. AC Earing pitched two innings of zero-run ball for Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 in relief. The righty gave up two hits, striking out none and walking none.

Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 piled up 13 hits in the game. Blankenship, Earing, Schwindt, Schmidt, and Tucker each collected two hits for Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025. Schmidt went 2-for-2 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Chasen Booher led Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Southern Colorado MSBL AAA All-Stars Team 2 – 2025 turned one triple play in the game.
