Wilson Strong As Pistols Shut Out Grizzlies

Mike Wilson shut down Grizzlies, throwing a complete game shutout and leading CS Pistols ’25 to a 6-0 victory on Sunday.
Rocky Rockwell collected three hits in four at bats in the win. Rocky Rockwell singled in the seventh inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the ninth inning.
A single by Mark Tucker put CS Pistols ’25 on the board in the top of the first.
Bart Jennings stepped on the hill first for Grizzlies. The hurler gave up four hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking five.
CS Pistols ’25 accumulated 13 hits in the game. Rocky Rockwell and Chasen Booher were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for CS Pistols ’25. Mike Wilson drove the middle of the lineup, leading CS Pistols ’25 with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Mark Tucker collected two hits for CS Pistols ’25 in five at bats. Justinn Szpunar paced CS Pistols ’25 with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game.
Andy Storm, Josh Carrington, and Bart Jennings each collected one hit for Grizzlies. Grizzlies turned one double play in the game.
