Several Bigfoot Sitings in Phoenix!
There were several Bigfoot stings in Phoenix, AZ during the 2025 Adam M. Sigler Father and Son World Series from 30 October to 2 November. Three Colorado Father and Son teams traveled to compete in the World Series, two in the Desert Division and one in the Cactus Division.
The CACTUS DIVISION had 12 teams. The Antelope Valley Dodgers, Blue Dogs, Kansas City A’s, OC Scorpions, Pro Bat Yankees, abd Terre Haute Volkers played in Division 1. The Albuquerque Pirates, Cal Tex Reds, Colorado Hammerheads, Lehigh Valley Moondogs, Maine Diamond Dogs, and Midwest Marauders played in Division 2. To enter Cactus Playoffs – 8 Teams Qualified. The top 3 teams in each division and next best 2 overall records.
The DESERT DIVISION consisted of 12 teams. The Chicago North TSP’s, Colorado Norsemen, Las Vegas, Seattle Rainiers, Team Guam, and Utah Pelicans played in Division 1. The Colorado Springs Bigfoot, The Northern Lights, Texarado Hackers, Tri Valley Giants Utah BSD, and Yonder Travelers competed in Division 2. To make the Desert Playoffs – 8 Teams Qualify, Top 3 teams in each division and next best 2 overall records.
The Bigfoot team (managed by Mark Lehman) was the only team to make it to the playoffs from Colorado only to get knocked out by the Utah Pelicans. The team had 3 generations of the Lehman family that played in the tournament which made it a unique experience! Other families that represented our league were the Maison, Prinzing, Bronson, Johnston, Haberkorn and Holz families. A great team filled with great families!!
