Colorado 50+ Teams Continue to Shine in Tournaments
The Colorado 50+ Adult Baseball players from the MSBL of Southern Colorado continue to shine in tournament play outside the state. This past Labor Day, three teams from our area filled with players from our league traveled to Rapid City, South Dakota to compete in the Mike Coley Memorial Adult Baseball Tournament.
This tournament consists of teams that play in two age groups that include a 48 and over age group and a 58 and over age group. The proceeds go to American Legion Post 22/320 Youth Baseball, and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Hospice.
Two teams from our area shined and won each division. The Colorado Falcons, a 58 and over Baseball Club won their division. Players that represented the MSBL of Southern Colorado baseball league are listed below.
