Bombers Breeze Past Rattlers

Bombers easily dispatched Rattlers on Saturday, 10-0.
Bombers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Hunter Crisp singled, Carter Gerber singled, Brett Gelb singled, and Thomas Revering doubled, each scoring one run.
Bombers added two runs in the second after Sloan Soulia singled.
An error, and a single by Eric Norman helped Bombers extend their early lead in the third.
Ben Wirt earned the win for Bombers. The righty gave up two hits and zero runs over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking none.
Bombers collected 13 hits in the game. Soulia provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bombers with three runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Gerber and Soulia each collected two hits for Bombers. Reed Stoltzfus stole two bases.
Ben Souik led Rattlers with two hits in two at bats.
Next up for Bombers is a game at New Mexico Skysox on Saturday.
