Orioles With Great Performance From 2 Pitchers To Defeat Shafters

Orioles defeated Shafters 5-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Cooper Seaman and Will Gabriel each pitched for Orioles in the game. Seaman struck out Kyler to get the last out.
Orioles opened the scoring in the first after Kc Scaggs hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Gabriel earned the win for Orioles. The pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over eight and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking two. Matt took the loss for Shafters. The starter went eight innings, giving up five runs (four earned) on four hits, striking out 15 and walking one. Seaman appeared in relief for Orioles.
Scaggs provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Orioles with three runs batted in. The second baseman went 1-for-2 on the day. Scaggs, Seth Pruett, E Medina, and Marcus each collected one hit for Orioles.
Sam Newburg, Joe Bowman, and Kyler each collected one hit for Shafters. Matt stole two bases.
