BigFoot Secure Win Against Rattlers

BigFoot beat Rattlers 11-6 on Sunday at Wasson.

Rattlers got on the board in the first inning after Christian Vail singled, scoring one run.
BigFoot flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring six runs on five hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Austin Lehman that drove in two.
A single by Bud Maison extended the BigFoot lead to 8-1 in the top of the third inning.
Steven Douglass began the game for Rattlers. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out one and walking four.
BigFoot piled up 10 hits in the game. Ryan Maison, Mark Lehman, Jared Lehman, Pat Slawson, Corey Haberkorn, Austin Lehman, Bud Maison, #32, #17, and #9 each collected one hit for BigFoot. Jared Lehman, Austin Lehman, and Bud Maison each drove in two runs for BigFoot. #60 paced BigFoot with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. #17 and #98 each stole multiple bases for BigFoot. BigFoot stole six bases in the game. BigFoot turned one double play in the game.
Christian Vail drove the middle of the lineup, leading Rattlers with three runs batted in. The center fielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Steven Douglass led Rattlers with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 10 walks for the game. Ben Souik stole three bases. Rattlers ran wild on the base paths, collecting four stolen bases for the game. Rattlers turned one double play in the game. Rattlers were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Christian Vail had the most chances in the field with four.
