Lehman Has Lots Of Hits In BigFoot Tie Versus Shafters

Mason Lehman collected three hits in four at bats, as BigFoot tied Shafters 13-13 on Sunday at Spurgeon. Mason Lehman singled in the fifth inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.
BigFoot got on the board in the top of the first inning after Derek Prinzing grounded out, scoring one run, Duane Prinzing tripled, scoring two runs, and Grant Lyons singled, scoring one run.
BigFoot added one run in the third after Derek Prinzing singled to left field.
BigFoot scored five runs on five hits in the top of the fifth inning. Mason Lehman singled, scoring one run, Jared Lehman hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and an error scored one run.
#13 singled to center field on a full count, which helped Shafters tie the game at 13 in the bottom of the eighth.
Mason Lehman led things off on the hill for BigFoot. The pitcher allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three and walking three. Dominic Garlick stepped on the mound first for Shafters. The starter surrendered six hits and five runs over three innings, striking out none and walking one.
BigFoot collected 18 hits in the game. Duane Prinzing drove the middle of the lineup, leading BigFoot with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-3 on the day. Derek Prinzing, Duane Prinzing, Mason Lehman, and Grant Lyons each collected three hits for BigFoot. Austin Lehman collected two hits for BigFoot in five at bats. Duane Prinzing, Mason Lehman, and Austin Lehman each stole multiple bases for BigFoot. BigFoot ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 11 stolen bases for the game. BigFoot turned two double plays in the game.
Shafters amassed 15 hits in the game. Brett Boone led Shafters with three hits in four at bats. Cory S collected two hits for Shafters in three at bats. Shafters had a strong eye at the plate, tallying 13 walks for the game. Matt S., Jimmy K, Masyn, and #14 led the team with two bases on balls each. #12 stole two bases. Shafters stole seven bases in the game.
