Bats Show Up In Bombers Win Against Oysters

Bats were blistered as Bombers defeated Oysters 2025 13-8 on Wednesday. Bombers collected two hits, while Oysters 2025 had 11.Oysters 2025 opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two singles. Oysters 2025 first got on the board when Andrew Behan singled, scoring one run.A single by Han Yoon extended the Oysters 2025 lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the second inning.

Bombers flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring seven runs on zero hits to take the lead, 8-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a hit by a pitch that drove in one. Bombers scored five runs on one hit in the top of the fifth inning. An error scored two runs, Kyle Woodard drew a walk, scoring one run, Blayke Walsh drew a walk, scoring one run, and Jared Esquivel drew a walk, scoring one run.

Hunter Crisp earned the win for Bombers. The southpaw allowed three hits and three runs (one earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out three and walking two.

Marty Kreil took the loss for Oysters 2025. The reliever went four innings, allowing nine runs (seven earned) on one hit, striking out seven and walking seven.

Morgan Rogers started on the bump for Oysters 2025. The hurler surrendered one hit and three runs over three innings, striking out four and walking four.

Caleb Wade threw one and one-third innings of scoreless ball for Bombers in relief. The hurler allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.

Ben Wirt led Bombers with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-4 on the day.
