Unsell With 3 Hits As Yard Goats Beat WarDogs COS

Robbie Unsell collected three hits in four at bats, as Yard Goats defeated WarDogs COS 8-4 on Wednesday. Robbie Unsell singled in the second inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.
Yard Goats got on the board in the first inning after Garrett Dulany singled, scoring one run.
Yard Goats added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Robbie Unsell singled to left field, WarDogs COS dropped a third strike, and Garrett Dulany singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Robbie Unsell began the game for Yard Goats. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and four runs (one earned) over eight innings, striking out seven and walking three. Josh Romero started on the bump for WarDogs COS. The starting pitcher allowed 12 hits and seven runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking two.
Yard Goats collected 15 hits in the game. Garrett Dulany and Kyle Peterson each drove in two runs for Yard Goats. Ben Seiffert and Justin Smith each collected multiple hits for Yard Goats.
Anthony Noriega went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead WarDogs COS in hits. WarDogs COS ran wild on the base paths, piling up four stolen bases for the game.
