Bombers Falls To Vipers

Bombers lost to Vipers 6-2 on Saturday at FFCHS BLUE FIELD.
Vipers opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Vipers first got on the board when Nolan Adamski singled, scoring two runs.
Thomas Jeffries earned the win for Vipers. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking one. Dominic San Felippo took the loss for Bombers. The hurler went five innings, surrendering six runs (two earned) on seven hits, striking out six and walking four.
Nick Baba, Bombers’s number nine hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats.
Nolan Adamski provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Vipers with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Shai James, Thomas Jeffries, and Evan Ford each collected two hits for Vipers.
Bombers welcome Orioles on Sunday for their next game.
