Shaftits Defeated By Duke City Angels

Shaftits could not keep pace with Duke City Angels 5-0 on Saturday at FFCHS RED FIELD.
A single by Nate Ross put Duke City Angels on the board in the bottom of the first.
Dylan Bacon opened the game for Shaftits. The starter gave up five hits and five runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking four. Evan Taylor opened the game for Duke City Angels. The pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking two.
Ben Buhler and Josh G each collected one hit for Shaftits.
Elijah Pearlman, Scott Ostrowsky, Evan Taylor, Benito Martinez, and Nate Ross each collected one hit for Duke City Angels. Scott Ostrowsky and Benito Martinez each drove in one run for Duke City Angels. Ben Jacquez stole two bases. Duke City Angels ran wild on the base paths, accumulating five stolen bases for the game. Duke City Angels turned one double play in the game.
Shaftits will travel to New Mexico Mariachis for their next game on Sunday.
