Los Gallos Cubanos Fall To Oysters 26 After Surrendering Big Fourth Inning

Oysters 26 scored six runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Los Gallos Cubanos 10-2 on Sunday at FFCHS RED FIELD.
Los Gallos Cubanos got on the board in the first inning after Raimer Mateo Alvarez doubled, scoring one run.
Oysters 26 jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Derric Ballard singled down the left field line, Bryan Cortez singled down the left field line, and Rashad Cordova walked, each scoring one run.
Oysters 26 scored six runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Josh Rodriguez singled, scoring one run, Derric Ballard drew a walk, scoring one run, and Bryan Cortez hit an inside the park grand slam.
Tyler Wendt opened the game for Oysters 26. The hurler allowed five hits and two runs (zero earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking two.
Yaidel Leon, Danny Rosabales, Yuset Marques, Raimer Mateo Alvarez, and Eddy each collected one hit for Los Gallos Cubanos. Yuset Marques and Raimer Mateo Alvarez each drove in one run for Los Gallos Cubanos. Los Gallos Cubanos turned two double plays in the game.
Oysters 26 collected nine hits in the game. Bryan Cortez led Oysters 26 with five runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-2 on the day. Jason Taylor paced Oysters 26 with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game.
