Bombers Defeat Vipers and Win the RMBB Tournament

Bombers beat Vipers 7-3 on Sunday.
Bombers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Eric Norman walked, Thomas Revering grounded into a fielder’s choice, and Brett Gelb lined out, each scoring one run.
Dominic San Felippo earned the win for Bombers. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and three runs over seven and one-third innings, striking out five and walking five. Isiah Volcic took the loss for Vipers. The starter went three innings, surrendering three runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out two and walking three. Kyle Woodard collected the save.
Bombers amassed 11 hits in the game. Carter Gerber, Bombers’s number eight hitter, led the team with two hits in two at-bats. Revering led Bombers with two runs batted in. Hunter Crisp paced Bombers with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. San Felippo stole two bases. Bombers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Revering had the most chances in the field with eight.
Jared Booth, Nic Bruntz, Nolan Adamski, Shai James, and Nate Bruntz each collected one hit for Vipers. Danny Pezdirt and Adamski each drove in one run for Vipers. Joey O’Dell led Vipers with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Vipers turned four double plays in the game.
Bombers will travel to WarDogs COS for their next game on Sunday.
