Knights Falls To Rattlers In High-Scoring Affair

Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but Knights fell to Rattlers 16-9 at Rampart on Sunday. Rattlers collected 19 hits, while Knights had eight.
Carson Kahla collected three hits in four at bats in the loss. Carson Kahla tripled in the third inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.
Knights got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jaden Biron walked, and Carson Kahla grounded out, each scoring one run.

Chris Delgado led Knights with three runs batted in. Chris Delgado went 1-for-3 on the day. Jaden Biron collected two hits for Knights in five at bats. Afton Lindner paced Knights with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game.
Rattlers collected 19 hits in the game. Zach Barber led Rattlers with three runs batted in. The third baseman went 3-for-5 on the day. Ben Souik went 5-for-5 at the plate to lead Rattlers in hits. Bryan Chang, Julian Navarro-Gutierrez, and Johnny Watry each collected multiple hits for Rattlers. Jon Tyra led Rattlers with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Nick Licano and Alex Lewis each stole multiple bases for Rattlers. Rattlers stole six bases in the game. Rattlers were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Julian Navarro-Gutierrez made the most plays with 12.
