Jeremiah Struble threw a shutout to lead Bombers past New Mexico Mariachis 18O 4-0 on Sunday at FFCHS RED.
Bombers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Alec Ortiz doubled, scoring one run, and Kasey Campbell homered to right field, scoring two runs.
Deshayes took the loss for New Mexico Mariachis 18O. The starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out eight and walking one.
Kasey Campbell drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bombers with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Jared Esquivel and Kasey Campbell each collected two hits for Bombers. Bombers turned one double play in the game. Bombers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Alec Ortiz had the most chances in the field with 11.
Graziano went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead New Mexico Mariachis 18O in hits. New Mexico Mariachis 18O didn’t commit a single error in the field. Valasquez had the most chances in the field with six.
Next up for Bombers is a game at Orioles on Sunday.
