BigFoot Stymied By Bandits

BigFoot had trouble keeping up with Bandits in an 11-5 loss on Sunday at Wasson.
Bandits opened the scoring in the first after David Hansen doubled, scoring one run.
Jared Lehman grounded out, which helped BigFoot tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
Bandits made the score 5-1 in the top of the second after an error scored one run, CJ Mast tripled, scoring two runs, and Ethan Sanford doubled, scoring one run.
Bandits added one run in the third after BigFoot committed an error.
Austin Lehman started on the hill for BigFoot. The starter surrendered seven hits and nine runs (three earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking five. Matt Borgman began the game for Bandits. The hurler gave up four hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking five.
Derek Prinzing, Corey Haberkorn, Austin Lehman, and Bud Maison each collected one hit for BigFoot. Jared Lehman, Corey Haberkorn, and Bud Maison each drove in one run for BigFoot.
Bandits piled up 10 hits in the game. Matt Borgman and #41 each collected two hits for Bandits. CJ Mast went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Matt Borgman stole two bases. Bandits worked the count all day, tallying seven walks. Bandits stole five bases in the game.
Next up for BigFoot is a game at Red Devils on Sunday.
